Year 8 Trip to PGL 'Little Canada'
I’m sure everyone will agree that we had an amazing four days away at the beginning of half term! Students and staff enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Little Canada on the Isle of Wight from 22nd-25th May 2026, packed with adventure, teamwork, and plenty of fun. Throughout the week, everyone took part in a wide range of exciting activities, including kayaking, Jacob’s Ladder, archery, laser tag, the giant swing, fencing, and much more.
We were especially fortunate to enjoy some wonderfully warm weather (not as hot as back home in Farnborough!), which made the experience even more memorable and allowed us to make the most of our time outdoors.
It was fantastic to see students—and even a few staff members—step outside their comfort zones, overcome personal challenges, and support one another along the way. Watching everyone develop new skills, build confidence, and achieve things they never thought possible was truly inspiring. Most importantly, friendships were strengthened, lifelong memories were made.
