Stopgap Dance Workshop
In April 2025 the Year 10 GCSE dance class were fortunate to participate in a workshop run by Laura and Cherie from Stopgap Dance Company, an inclusive contemporary dance company in which diversity is pursued.
We were introduced to one of their works – ‘Artificial Things’ and gained an insight into the background of the piece, as well as learning some of the movement material before creative tasks resulting in short duets. We have a really good starting point now from which to develop these over the coming lessons. Thank you Stopgap – a brilliant workshop!
