Camo Day Fundraising Fun

ScarecrowOn Wednesday 24th June we held our second successful Camo Day to raise funds for SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen’s Families Association) and the Nepal Earthquake Fund.

An impressive total of £828.55 was raised, the majority of which was from the Charity Dress Code day with many students (and staff) entering into the spirit of the day by coming to school dressed in some great camouflage outfits.

Camo Day

The School quad was festooned with camouflage bunting and a large tent covered with Camo netting housed the various stalls including a Cake Stall, Camouflage Face Painting, Sweets in a Jar, and Guess the Scarecrow’s name.

Bubble tea

Under the trees, Tambee's Bubble Tea supported the event with a stall and a donation of proceeds.

Students belonging to the Air cadets organised and erected an impressive gazebo housing a very popular Tin Can Alley game.

assault course

Out on the school field at lunch time an Assault Course took place which was organised by students with the help of The PE staff.

The students were all amazing on the day but we are especially proud of our brilliant team of students (from all years) who helped to plan and organise the day and then gave up their break and lunch times to run the stalls so the whole day ran smoothly.
